Established in 1916, Partanna® Specialty Foods is a family-owned and operated line of premium extra virgin olive oil and table olives produced by five generations of The Asaro Family Farm in Southwest Sicily. Made with 100% Castelvetrano (also known as Nocellara del Belice) olives from the province of Trapani in Sicily, the Asaro family farmers freshly cold press the olives within hours of picking to obtain a premium extra virgin olive oil. It is then bottled immediately after the harvest in mid-October in a dark tin to maintain freshness. Partanna® contains a low acidity level (around .3%) and is routinely praised by leading Italian Michelin Star chefs as a versatile oil that can be used for finishing, dipping and cooking.
